- What is Jamster Music?

Jamster Music is a digital Music service for Mobile phones and PC.
Once you purchase a track, you can receive it to download to your mobile and your PC. You are then free to listen to it as often as you like, burn to CD, or transfer to compatible Music Players. Tracks can be purchased through Single Purchase ($5 each) or for even better value by Subscription ($5/sms, 2sms/week plus $5 sign up)

Yes, with the Jamster Music Web-Player. You can open the Jamster Music page in an internet browser and play your music - anywhere you like to!

back to top - Can I also purchase Single Tracks - to download, burn and keep?

Yes! All tracks and albums are available through Single Purchase and Subscription. Each track is available for PC (WMA data file with 192 kbps) and Mobile (AAC data file with 64 kbps). With single purchase you can also burn, keep and play the tracks on your Music Player. Every purchased track can be download to your PC up to four times through your Jamster Account (Login at www.jamster.com.au/music/mysongs).

back to top - What PC requirements are there to download music?

To download music from the Jamster website you will need the following PC settings:
- Microsoft Internet Explorer (Version 6 or above)
- ActiveX
- play the music: Windows Media Player (recommended) or another WMA-compatible music player
- burn music: Windows Media Player
How to activate ActiveX:
Click on "Tools" in the Menu Bar of Internet Explorer, choose "Internet Options" and click on "Security". Then choose security level of medium-high just as shown here in this picture (recommended level).
Alternatively, you can manually choose the security level. Just ensure that the two ActiveX options - see below - are activated.

- How do I get my Tracks through Single Purchase?

You get your track for your PC and also for your mobile phone.
Here is how it works:- Choose a track or album from the Jamster Music website and
click "get It"

- Chose any Jamster Music Purchase option (6 Tracks/week,
Single Purchase, Album Purchase)

- Enter your Mobile Phone Number so that we can send you your
personal Jamster Password via Text Message. Then, enter the password
on the Jamster website.

- Click on the "Download" Button and save the Track to your
computer.

After purchasing a Track, you may download it again up to 3 times. This can be done through your Jamster Account and allows you to download the Track to both your PC and your mobile phone. Downloaded Tracks can be played directly from your PC or through the Jamster Music Web-Player. You can also re-send the Download Link to your mobile phone to download the track onto it. You will receive the Download Link via Text Message, just open the link and click on the Track to download. You can listen to your Music anytime, anywhere.
Note: Please be aware of your Mobile Operator's Data Transfer costs. We cannot tell you the exact charges, as these differ from Operator to Operator. We recommend that if you are using Jamster Music often to use a Flatrate data Package. Contact your mobile operator for further details.
All your downloaded Tracks can be found at: www.jamster.com.au/music/mysongs. Log in with your mobile phone number and your Jamster Password and you will be able to access all your downloaded Tracks, including info on your downloads so far, under "My Music".

- Is there a minimum term for a Jamster Music Subscription?

Subscriptions are billed on a weekly basis but there is NO minimum term.
